RISE OF THE RANTS
If you scroll through the forum pages on SimplePlanes.com odds are you will at least see one rant per page. Ever since the new update this stuff has been happening a lot. Maybe the update has a few bugs that need to be fixed. Has the update betrayed its users? Well its definitely betrayed the mods as they are scrambling to control these posts.

SPEAKING OF MODS
Well while we are talking about mods Andrew Garrison is taking requests for the summer season coming. Here is the full message.

With summer quickly approaching, we are considering adding a few more moderators to the site. With all the students that are suddenly going to have a lot more time on their hands, we will need some help keeping this site clean and friendly!
We are looking for people with the following qualities:

1. Must be at least 16 years old
2. Must have a level head. You must be able to prevent and resolve conflict....not participate in it.
3. Must be able to access the site most days

Here's what the job looks like:

1. Check the mod queue often and deal with reported posts and comments
2. Ideally the job will take less than 30 minutes per day for all moderators
3. You get the cool red mod flair
4. This a volunteer job. You can quit any time, just give us a heads up!

If you are interested, let us know via the contact form at the bottom of the page. Tell us the following:

1. What's your user name on the site?
2. How long have you been a part of the community?
3. What time zone are you in?
4. Why do you think you'd be a good mod?

Note: I highly recommend typing your application in a text editor and pasting into the contact form in case the contact form eats your message and errors out.
